Another winter season is here, and new HOT Tables have been published by FAA and Transport Canada. They are both present in the latest version of HOTCalculator. To choose between FAA and TC Holdover times, go to the settings page in the app. The Holdover times are mostly the same, but you may find differences in type II fluids for different conditions of snow.
The temperature unit selector has also been moved to the settings page.
Furthermore, it is now possible to get Holdover times adjusted for extended flaps. The selection for extended/retracted flaps is placed just below the calculated Holdover time.
There is a lot of work put into this app, and there is a lot of work updating the tables each year. Therefore, a subscription or in-app purchase is now required to get full access to all fluids. I hope you like the app enough to support its further maintenance.
