FlightBriefing has been continuously developed for many years and has since long reached a quite mature state. There are always functions to add and integrations with other apps and systems to perform, but the main application is working very well.
Due to the fact that the first clients have had their own backends, where data was sent, the focus has always been on the front end. A powerful general backend has been lacking. Having worked with the DocBrowser Suite as a client, I have seen how well their backend performed, and how it could be adapted to the needs of FlightBriefing. Therefore, FlightBriefing is now joining the DocBrowser suite as a powerful EFF frontend, which can be supplemented by the other products of the DocBrowser Suite, notably iDocBrowser (Document publishing system), iReForm (electronic forms) and iFlyThere (Destination database). These apps will share the same backend, user setup and interface, while completing each other’s functionality for a full set of EFB apps for the airline or business jet company.
